Inflammatory reaction is thought to be an important contributor to neuronal damage in
neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD),
multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and the parkinsonism dementia
